Our Mission

The Quebec Transgenic Research Network was created in 2004 owing to an initial financial contribution from Valorisation-Recherche Québec (VRQ) and the collaboration of six (6) institutional members. Since 2008, the QTRN was a Fonds de la Recherché en Santé du Québec (FRSQ) thematic network and had as a mandate to offer high quality and affordable tools and services to the scientific community by uniting and strengthening genetically modified animal research in Quebec.
